The Lady Devils had a Senior Night worth remembering, complete with a 2-0 victory over North Henderson.
The evening started with a presentation of the seniors. Each senior walked with her parents down a tunnel of teammates. Meanwhile, the announcer told the crowd each girl’s favorite soccer moment, accomplishments, and future plans. The five seniors recognized were Ali Carter, Emily Tellman, Jessica Porter, Leah Johnson, and Megyn Terryal.

The night continued with a strong first half of the game. The Lady Blue Devils scored both of their points during the first half. The first goal was scored ten minutes into the game by Johnson with assistance from Porter. Sophomore Aina Stratton planted the second goal in the back of the net about 15 minutes later.
During the second half, the team continued to fight off the North Henderon Lady Knights, successfully keeping them from scoring a single goal.

The soccer team’s first playoffs game will take place at home on Wednesday, May 8.
