Wednesday May 15 at the Porter Center at Brevard Community College, there will be a concert called “Beatlemania”. This concert is being put on by The Return-Beatles Tribute Band. The group will be performing hit songs from the classic rock band, and have been known to get rave reviews from audience members of previous shows.
Senior James Tweed won the poster contest the Brevard Philharmonic held at Brevard High School. It wasn’t really a competition so much as an opportunity to design the poster. It was open only to seniors in the school’s graphics program, and was proposed by the Brevard Philharmonic in order to keep a partnership with BHS after its concert chorus got to perform with them and the Asheville Lyric Opera in February.
