Sweetheart, the school pig, went into labor during the very early hours of May 13, 2014. Mr.Case and Mr.Harris spent the rest of the night helping Sweetheart give birth to 18 piglets.
Unfortunately, 2 of the 18 piglets did not survive. The other 16 piglets are happy and healthy with 2 of the 16 being bottle fed by students at thier homes.
