On Friday May 23, seniors went to Dollywood located in Pigeon Forge Tennessee for their senior trip. Thirty-four seniors along with Mrs. McCall, Mr. Ormsby, and Officer Ellenburger left BHS at about 7 a.m and arrived at the park at about 10:30 a.m.
Senior Grace Williams said her favorite part about senior trip was “the rides and being able to ride them with my friends. It’s not everyday that you get told go to a theme park with a lot of your friends and peers, so it was really enjoyable to experience something as exciting as a theme park with friends!”.
For next years seniors, Williams gave a little advice “Make sure you bring sunscreen! The weather was perfect, but I would have been a lobster without the sunscreen I brought!”
It was a long but fun day filled with roller coasters such as the Eagle and Mystery Mine along with yummy foods like a thirty inch pizza and cream cheese brownies. The day ended at about 11 p.m when the bus finally arrived back to the BHS campus.
