Improvements around BHS

By Beth DeMoss

Volunteers from a local church donated more than 480 hours of work to help improve Brevard High School.

About 70 members of First United Methodist Church and Lowe’s came to BHS and worked for about 8 hours of their weekend to help.

The volunteers accomplished a lot. Several doors and the railings were painted, multiple trees and shrubs were removed, the parking lot was cleaned, the boys’ locker room and the press box were painted and weeds were removed all around Brevard High.

FUMC members have adopted Brevard High and are helping provide this service to better the community.
