Freshman student council elections were last Friday. The positions offered were president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and publicity director.
“Student Council meets together to have time to plan it all, decorate for the different events and to have fun, building a relationship and family with each other and those at our school.” said senior Sophie Davis.
All positions will be announced by the end of the day on Friday. The results are as follows: Crista Cali is president, Hannah Dickson is vice president, Aly Henneberry is treasurer, Kyra Nakagawa is secretary, and August Barham is publicity director. Student Council will meet on Tuesdays in room 111 during tutorial B.
“The significance of having a Student Council is that there is a actual connection between the body and the students,” said Davis, “We plan the different activities that make the most memorable times that we have here at Brevard!
