Curriculum fair showcases classes offered in high school

Choosing classes can be difficult, but, luckily, Brevard High School offers a curriculum fair to learn more about the classes students can take in the next school year.

The Brevard High School curriculum fair will be held tomorrow to showcase the classes, clubs and sports at Brevard High.

The fair will be in the new gym, starting at 5 p.m. and ending at 7. Rising high school students are recommended to attend this event. Students and parents are free to come and go as they wish.

This event is the prime time to see exactly what is offered at Brevard High School, along with meeting future teachers and asking questions about the courses they teach.

“It’s a great introduction event prior to registration in the Spring,” said Hallie Thoele, one of Brevard High’s counselors. “We have done it a little different each year, however, we are very hopeful of a large turnout this year.”

Clubs and sports have also been invited to participate in the fair.

“I have been involved in the curriculum fair for the past several years, so I strongly believe that it is a good avenue to get information out to students about the classes that BHS offers, descriptions and pre-requisites of these classes,” said Laura Patch, science teacher.

Those interested in visiting the curriculum fair can drop by the new gym between 5 and 7 p.m. tomorrow.
