College Preparation at BHS

By: Lauren Tooley

Many students see college as a daunting and exciting event for the far off future. However, it approaches sooner than most students anticipate. To help students prepare, the guidance counselors are constantly offering preparation classes for juniors.

On Wednesday, May 6 from 3:15-5:15 pm in Tanya McCall’s room, the College Foundation of North Carolina, CFNC, will be giving juniors tips on applying for college. They will cover topics such as finding scholarships, college resources, resume writing, and career exploration.

Students are encouraged to bring chromebooks. Light snacks will also be provided.

All interested students should email Hallie Thoele to sign up.
