Students give important advice and study tips!
Our administration and staff give us important dates!
It’s the last 9 weeks of school here at Brevard High School so now’s the time to work hard and finish strong. Here’s some tips on how to be prepared for the end of the semester.
Studying is a very important part of a student’s life. Studying will help you prepare for the final exam and also help you prepare for any tests your teacher may give you. Find a nice, quiet place, get comfortable, and start working on worksheets that have been provided by your teacher or go over your notes.
If you’ve missed over 5 days in any class, you must make up an hour and thirty minutes with that teacher. If you fail to do so, you will automatically fail that class even if you have a passing grade.
Come to school
Coming to school will not only help you avoid having to make up time but it’ll also help you understand the curriculum. You will be there to learn any new matters that the teacher may go over.
Go to tutorials
Going to PRIDE lunch tutorials will give you an opportunity to get any extra help you may need. Teachers can help you with homework, studying, and will answer any questions you may have.
Get your grades up
If you didn’t do so well last semester, now’s your chance to redeem yourself. Make sure you complete and turn in your homework, give it your best effort on tests, seek extra help if needed, and ask your teacher about extra credit.
