With October 31 fast approaching, many students are celebrating Halloweek by decorating, dressing up, buying candies, and making plans for Halloween. But what better way to celebrate the spookiest time of year than by eating treats, having a good time, and making new friends during the school day?

This Friday, October 28, during Lunch B, there will be a Halloween party in Sara Plum’s room, room 511, located in the math wing. Hosted by the Unified Club, this celebration is all about getting to know your fellow students and having fun. There will be food, dancing, games, and much more. There is no cost to attend, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to come join in the festivities.

Run by the Special Olympics, the Unified Club works to instill a value of inclusion within the school and provides great opportunities for students to gather and meet new people. They work to build relationships with exceptional students and make them feel welcome and connected to other students within the school.

A day of celebration and fun, Friday is definitely a day you don’t want to miss out on.
