A Taste of France

by Abby Smith and Cassie Bradley

On November 9th, BHS French Club will be hosting the annual cheese tasting.

The cheese tasting will be open to all students of Brevard High.

Each year, French teacher, Kathryn Bailey puts on this event to kick off the year for the club.

“I do it because France has more than five hundred cheeses, and a lot of Americans are use to maybe five cheeses. So it’s just to expose them to different culture,” said Bailey.

At the cheese tasting, students and members are able to taste many different types of cheeses such as brie, camembert, and goat.  Along with other foods from French culture.

Baguettes and sparkling grape juice will also be available to taste.

Members are able to come free but those who are not members will need to pay $3.

This money will go towards the club’s plans for the year.

The cheese tasting is always a big hit. If you are available for this event you should definitely try to make it!
