Missing football season? Need something to do on a Friday night? On February 24 the BHS Spirit Club will be hosting a volleyball tournament. This tournament will be a fundraiser for the club, the proceeds of which will be used to put money into spirit club. The club plans to use this for future events like pep rallies.
The event will take place at 5:30 pm in the new gym. There are 8 teams signed up to play including teachers and students. Each team consists of 6-8 players and a clever team name.
Varsity volleyball players Ashley McBee, Hannah Gordon, Hannah Jenkins, Blaze Betts, Kinsey Wright, Makiyah Duckett, and Danielle Troyer will be acting as coaches in the weeks leading up to the tournament.
Tickets will be sold for $5 beforehand at lunch and at the door. There will also be concessions available at the tournament. Make sure to come out and support the spirit club!
