Any student that is 14 1/2 is eligible to take driver’s ed online. This will cost $60 compared to the sit down class, offered at BHS and RHS, which is $40. The limit to each class is 100 students, and advance registration and attendance are required.
The online program takes only 4 weeks to finish, work must be during the schedule of the course. Make-up work is not allowed.
“This course is convenient for students with after school activities” Alan Justice, transportation coordinator, said.
After the student has completed the course they will complete 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction.
