BHS Blood Drive

By Theo Holshouser

On March 16th, the BHS blood drive is being held in the new gym from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. On the topic, Tamera Moman was enthusiastic about encouraging students to participate. Students who are 16 need a form of parental consent that can be picked up at the office or the blood drive table in the CTE wing. All students need a photo ID to donate blood. Donating blood is important because of the high need for blood transfusions in hospitals. All types of blood are needed. Another bonus is that if you haven’t given blood before, the you can get the results of what blood type you are and you can know if you’re a universal donor. Universal donors have very valuable blood and should be encouraged to donate. Donate blood on march 16th and help save a life!
