This week for our TIME spotlight we talked to Cullen Duval about what his team did in their time project. Duval worked along with Kylie Evans and Emma Dauster to measure how attracted mosquitoes are to different scents of flowers found in a common bouquet. Their team competed in the biology category, placed second on their board, and first in their presentation. In his own words, Duval is “Really excited” and in the future he hopes to get to go to the national competition after he competes in state.
