In a recent golf match at Waynesville Country Club, junior Will Byrd placed first amongst all competitors.
Byrd finished with a 68 at 2 under par. He has had a excellent season, placing near the top at all competitions this year.
Byrd said “I’m looking forward to the rest of the season and hopefully we finish off strong at state.”
His goal is to make it to the State playoffs after conference playoffs are completed.
