This week for Cooking Corner, I made Frozen Lemonade. This recipe was super easy to make, and if it weren’t for having to film the process, I definitely could have made it in 5 minutes or less. The recipe was really straightforward, and it calls for 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (ignore that…you can definitely use the bottled kind from the shelf), vanilla ice cream (the amount you put in your blender is definitely up to your discretion, but I used 5 scoops), 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 cups of water. Simple as that.
Your first steps are to combine the lemon juice, sugar, and water together in a pitcher. After mixing them together, you’ll probably want to place it in the fridge for a little while, unless your lemon juice and water were already fairly cold.
After that, you are going to put as much ice cream into the blender as you desire, pour in the lemonade mixture, and blend it. You don’t want to blend for too long, like I did, and leave it to where there are still some solid pieces of ice cream in there as well. After blending, you can add more ice cream to the cup you’re planning on pouring it into, or just drink it as is.
Enjoy!
