Thursday, October 30, Pisgah Forest Elementary School is hosting a reading night for its students, and BHS athletes are invited to attend. Organizers hope this opportunity will allow younger students to learn from older students through reading and build community relations between Brevard High School and Pisgah Forest Elementary School.
The reading night will begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until 7:30 p.m. in the elementary school library. BHS students will read to the students of PFE. This is meant to be a positive influence for both PFE and BHS students, and provide younger kids with role models from the high school.
