Patton Party

Before Spring Break, Brevard High School students and staff threw Mr. Frank Patton a party for his 90th birthday to thank him for all he has done for the school. Frank Patton graduated from BHS 73 years ago. During his time in Brevard his grandmother even gave Ecusta its name. After graduating from Clemson college, he was a longtime employee for John Deere, and a shareholder for Sherwin-Williams. Frank and his wife moved back to Brevard in recent years to retire.
Since then, Mr. Patton and his wife Donna Patton have donated over $2,000 worth of stock for turf, “He’s very important to the football team, he comes to support us every game”, says junior Nick Cabe. They have also purchased new instruments for the band, a class set of kindles for literacy class, invested a quarter million dollars towards the track team, books, attended pro education rally’s, marches, and walk in’s to help advocate for BHS.
