On March 11 and 12 there will be the 5th Annual Asheville Marathon. The marathon is a half marathon as well as a full marathon, it’s through the gardens, paths, and view of the Biltmore Estate.
“Every year they pick some charity organization to raise money by having runners,” Andrew Healy said.
There will be twelve runners participating for the Boys and Girls club of Transylvania County this year.”The runners will raise money and we will be supplying volunteers,” said Healy.
The volunteers will be helping out on the course, making sure the runners know where to go. Volunteers will be helping out at aid stations as well.
