The Brevard High School softball team was recently featured on Fox News for their sportsmanship.
Brevard played North Henderson High School for their senior night game. Senior Lauren DuBreuil was the only player recognized from Brevard, but the team decided to recognize North Henderson’s Tori Renfroe as well.
Renfroe suffers from Von Hippel-Lindau Syndrome, which causes tumors and often leads to cancer.
“She’s a starter on the team and she worked really hard for that position.” said DuBreuil. “It was a cool experience.”
