The Brevard High Tennis team clinched a state championship recently.

In doubles, senior Cameron Wilson accompanied by junior Liam Baer took the top spot, taking out all the competition.

“I played in the 2A State Championship Tournament. Me and my partner Liam Baer won the championship and got that ring,” said senior team captain Cameron Wilson.

Liam Baer had a great time winning it all.

“It was a fun experience. We ran to each other and jumped in the air,” said junior Liam Baer

The blue devils are prepared to continue the season into the playoffs with team play.

All boys have not suffered a loss all season. They have helped secured important wins for the blue devils against top competitors.

As the tennis state team title edges towards Brevard Tennis, the aim is set on a feat for a state title.
