This week, we talked to Hannah Lemel about her tips for college applications as well as choosing a college. She told us that she was planning on going to Auburn University in the fall, and that she’s extremely excited to experience new things.
“I’m planning on majoring in animal science,” Lemel said. She also told us she planned on eventually attending vet school, because she felt it was her responsibility to give back to animals. Hannah is an avid horseback rider, and she said this is one of the factors that convinced her to pursue a career involving animals.
As for college application tips, Hannah said, “Finding the motivation to complete applications is difficult especially under the pressure of senior project,” and that you should set aside some time every night to work on applications as well as scholarship essays because the deadlines approach quicker than you’d expect.
