On Saturday May 19, the Brevard track team advanced over to the 2018 NCHSAA 2A State Championship meet held over at Aggie Stadium over in Greensboro.
The Men’s 4×800 Meter Relay team placed 9th overall in the state with a time of 8:34, and the Girl’s 4×800 Meter Relay team placed 6th with a time of 10:21. Junior, Celia Richmond placed 10th in the Girl’s 400 Meter Dash. Senior, Ava Findlay placed 8th in the Girl’s 2 mile. Junior, Willow Micheal placed 15th in the Girl’s 100 Meter Hurdles. Freshman, Andy Mckibbon placed 12th in the Girl’s 300 Meter Hurdles. The Girl’s 4×400 Meter Relay Team placed 7th in the state, and Junior, Noah Schoenacher placed 12th overall in the state in the Men’s 800 Meter Dash.
