This week there are some great National Days!
On April 25 it’s National East meets West Day! This day is also known as Elbe Day. East meets West day remembers the day the Eastern front of the allied forces met the Western front on the River Elbe.
You can be reminded of National East meets West Day by simply looking at a weather vain.
On April 27 it’s National Tell A Story Day! It’s encouraged that on this day you should read different genres of books. You can also learn new information and read new, exciting books.
On April 30 it’s National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day! This day was created to spread awareness for millions of sheltered pets that need adoption. 3.2 million shelter pets are adopted each year out of 6.5 millions pets that end up being sheltered.
